Reblog: Why Writers Run

I write, but I am not a writer.  I run, but I am not a runner.  Writing and running are two challenges I have yet to conquer successfully.  I discovered this article in The Atlantic and thought it was worth sharing.  The parallels between reading and writing discussed by the author likely explains my ambivalence towards these two acts of mental exertion and my perceived level of accomplishment (or lack thereof) in both areas. Nevertheless, I press forward, determined to reach the pinnacle of success…whatever that may be.

Happy reading!
