I check the mail faithfully each day, awaiting word from you.

Memories of you cuddled in the arms of the childless couple gazing lovely at your sweet, angelic face with such joy and adoration comfort me

Thirty years later, I know the worst day of my life was the absolutely best thing I could have done for you.

    Wow.. As selfless as only a mother can be. And, all she is expecting is a letter from her baby, that baby, which may not even be aware of the truth, the sacrifice. The mother may very well know that she ain’t receiving a letter, but, her longing for a letter, symbolizes her love, pure, unconditional love. Wow.
