Days of Summer

three line tales week 58: a man behind a fence

We watched from the stands, gloved and hatted, huddled together as the last vestiges of Winter begrudgingly gave way to Spring

As our children darted to and fro, taking turns hitting, catching and fielding, coaches and volunteers fiddled about guiding, instructing, and directing.

In a few short weeks, we’d pack the stands, donning t-shirts proclaiming us to be Mom, Dad, Nannah to our favorite tiny mite, waving and cheering, filling ourselves with food and drink, basking in the days of Summer.

This is my offering for Week 58 of the Three Lines Tales challenge hosted by Sonya.  If you would like to join the fun, here’s how:

Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt (& give them a title if possible).

  • Link back to this post (& check the link shows up under the weekly post).
  • Tag your post with 3LineTales (so everyone can find you in the Reader).
  • Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
  • If you want your post to be included in the round-up, you have until Sunday evening to publish it.
  • Have fun.
