The flags waved valiantly in the breeze, vibrant colors welcoming, beckoning as the ship approached.
Though weary and sea-logged refugees, we were excited about our new home and the possibilities that awaited us.
This was the land of opportunity, a harbor of new hope, our safe haven.
This is my offering for Week Eight of Three Line Tales hosted by the venerable Sonya at Only 100 Words:
- Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt (& give them a title if possible).
- Link back to this post.
- Tag your post with 3LineTales (so everyone can find you in the Reader).
- Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
- Have fun.
Come join the fun 😀

This is a good way to end the 3 lines:
“a harbor of new hope, our safe haven.”
Great contribution, Kay! You and magarisa totally kill the writing prompts!
