Good day, All! This is my offering for the Writer’s Quote Wednesday Writing Challenge hosted by Collen and Ronovan. This week’s prompt is MAGIC.
Try as he might, he could not resist her. He only knew her by sight as no words have ever passed between them. It was her eyes, something in her eyes called to him. They were dark, murky impenetrable orbs framed in hints of blazing cooper. Conventional wisdom dictated that he look away, avoid the blinding glare, but he could not. Much like the moon intercepts the Earth and the Sun, her very being was discordant, a fluke of celestial mechanics. She was rare, appearing unannounced, demanding his attention, disrupting his being, before fading away. Against his better judgment, he continued to pursue her, desperately chasing the unobtainable.
