Three Line Tales: Alone

Conversation ceased as I re-entered the room, finger bear and alone.

Everyone continued staring out of the window, avoiding eye contact, hiding their snickers.

They’d all witnessed my very public humiliation only a few minutes prior when I was unceremoniously dumped by my fiancée.

This is my inaugural offering for the Three Line Tales challenge sponsored by Only 100 Words:

  • Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt.
  • Link back to this post.
  • Tag your post with 3LineTales (so we can find you in the Reader).
  • Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
  • Have fun.

Many thanks to Sonya for this amazing platform!
